The light filter

The light filter of RESANTA welding masks has the structure of a puff pastry. The first layer is a protective shield designed to protect the inner layers from mechanical damage. Then there are several layers of liquid crystals, alternating with polarizing films, to protect the eyes from bright visible radiation. And finally, the last layer is an ultraviolet and infrared filter, which almost completely absorbs ultraviolet and infrared radiation.
